Waiting time for Powerspouts is getting longer this summer

Normally when I order a Powerspout hydro turbine from Ecoinnovation in New Zealand they send it out within a week.  They used quote a three week fulfilment time but that was very exceptional.  Now they are quoting 3-4 months due to being swamped with work.  My experience in reality has been closer to half of this long a wait but it is definitely getting longer.  So if you need a turbine you need to be prepared for this.

They have recently experienced a significant surge in demand, driven by global shifts in renewable energy uptake and recent international events. While they are very busy, expanding their small team of four requires substantial training time. So the situation is likely to last a while.

Over the last year EcoInnovation has been involved in some significant projects. They are nearing completion on a UN-funded project on Pentecost Island, which spans five hydro stations (the largest is 30kW on 20 turbines) and will eventually power about 1,000 homes. Additionally, a new project is underway on Tanna Island to provide power and water to six schools and villages. The technical equipment (16T) shipped last week.
