South Wheatley Environmental Trust, based in North Cornwall are no longer able to keep this turbine going due to increased insurance and maintenance costs. It’s a a 15kw Proven Energy turbine tower but they replaced the head, (which they still have), with a 6kw one a few years ago. There are also 3 SMA inverters for grid connection. The original 15kW head c/w blades is also available but there is maybe a problem with the shaft.
