Jon Sumanik-Leary
Between 2012 and 2014 Jon Sumanik-Leary and I did some performance measurements on wind turbines here at Scoraig, using Logic Energy mobile logging systems. Jon has finally completed the processing of the results and sent me some exciting curves.
There is a huge body of data, and it had to be filtered for quality, but it’s now summarised on this new page.
I am pleased to find that overall energy production roughly matches the the predictions in my Recipe Book. But there is quite a lot of variation between the eight machines that we studied.
