Electronic edition of Wind turbine plans

My Wind Turbine Recipe Book is now available in electronic form on Amazon Kindle. As yet, this is only the metric edition but if the project is successful I will also adapt the ‘English units’ (inches) edition for Kindle too.

Meantime if you want hard copy then you can still get it in either metric or inches units from me by post using Paypal. Orders are dealt with immediately and should reach you anywhere in the world in under a week (often less, but we cannot guarantee any timing).

The Amazon Kindle price is dramatically cheap at least to begin with, because I want to make this available to as many people as possible. I am hoping for a lot of sales but if these do not materialise then I will probably increase the price later, to try to make my efforts more worthwhile.

Sorry Richard, Yes there were a few errors in the 2009 ‘inches edition’ but I fixed that one a year ago. The ratio is indeed 3/4 and the correct numbers of magnets are 8,12,16 whereas the number of coils is 6,9 and 12. I haven’t heard of any silly errors like that for a while so I am pretty confident I have got rid of them now.

Hy I am one of your many fans I have bought your book two times the first I lost that is way I bought the second and I am planing to buy the kindle version. I find your book very instructive and easy to understand witch is very help full to any novice like me wanting to do a wind turbine.
Recently I found my self confused I think there is a problem with the number of coils in the table that you give me on page 36 of your book the axial flux wind mills plans
Hugh Piggot 2009 English Units Edition.
Turbines diameter 8-10 says 12 coils it should be 9
Turbines Diameters 12-14 says 16 coils it should be12
I have learn that to achieve a 3 face turbine we should have 4 magnets for each 3 coils to achieve 3 face that are not the same .
your drawings on page 65 related to turbines 8-10 and 12-14 confirm this
please let me know if I am wrong writing to [email protected]
thank you great book keep up the good work

    u
